Hi, I am Edouard, the founder of Go-media, formerly Gorizzah.🕰️
📸Since I was 7, I posted videos on Youtube, my first ever channel was 'Les Loups Garoux' or Werewolves, now Gorizzah_Old. At a very young age, I knew I wanted to make content online and for the longest time, it wasn't professional. Then, in 2019, I launched Gorizzah.
👣Being 10 at the time, I wanted Gorizzah to be the next 'multi-Channel' media network. I first got inspired by JackSucksAtLife and wanted to beat the number of channels he had with my branding type being Gorizzah_... but I soon realised it was going to be a mess to maintain so I finally stopped getting new channels out.
Fun fact, the name Gorizzah came to my mind when I was sleeping in my mom's bed on a sleepless night, I thought to myself💭: '' What is a name no one else had that has weird letters?'' I then, really quickly came out with Gorizzah because of the unusual letters being G,Z, and H. My content since then was semi-professional?! I did some editing on some of my videos but nothing crazy.
🚅One of those channels was Gorizzah_Tours, now Go Urbanism, which is where I started to interest myself in urbanist content. I always liked busses🚌 and trains🚂 but never really knew why, until I learned about urbanism and since then, I started doing livestreams around my hometown of Alma📍 , and southern Ontario🚆.
🎥That brings us to today, or about 6 months ago, When I filmed my first video about the works happening in Downtown Alma posted on Go Urbanism (French only). The literal second sentence I said was: ''Hi, I'm Edouard from [the Channel] Gorizzah_Tours...'' and it just didn't feel right😐. I wondered to myself. What could be a better name that people could easilly remember but would still sound like Gorizzah while not feeling childish. I then landed on Go-Media📌, and renamed my channels in consequence, as well as openopening a blog post📝 and well, this website. Basically I made Go-media my brand and made it a brand image with colors (hues of blue arount the website)
⚡For the future; next year (Late 2026), I'll be going to Cégep🏫 (a school between high school and University) Where I plan to study landscaping and Urbanism. I then have further plans (Late 2030) to move to Waterloo Region and study Urban Planning at the University of Waterloo🎉.
